How does it feel to be an Accounting student ?

I'm college student in University of Muhammdiyah Sumatra Utara moreover my major is accounting since 2018 . 

I'm up for learning accounting since I knew that accounting major can gain information about business cycle furthermore finance in company, hence I decided to take accounting major . Yeah, although I have never studied accounting knowledge in my senior high school yet it didn't matter for me . I feel like saying, in the first semester . I was overwhelming as I must study harder to learn updated knowledge in my life. Yet, time by time, I would say that I adore accounting major . It is kind of challenging concept in addition it's not dull major . Every single days I can gain lots of modern concept moreover it can increase my curiosity about business .

 If you ask me , if I could turn back the time, what's major that I was going to take ? 

Absolutely the answer is same , accounting major .

I would say that I'm not dreadful regret to take accounting major .


Alright guys, I'm gonna reveal about

 the things which I do as accounting student .


1. How the professor give Material to students .

My professors are going to declare before giving the ample assignments.





* Some of them, elaborate by using power point and then asking several students questions furthermore let students to ask .


* Some of them, before class begins . They ask students to read the material which relate with their class, after that, they are gonna open the class for discussing something which students don't understand about the material moreover they divulge the material clearly .


*Some of them, splitting the students into some groups in addition asking students to discuss about the accounting cases and then the professor is gonna assert clearer about the cases .


*Some of them, teaching the students with executing the accounting cases on white board furthermore let students ask the questions .


2. What kind of the assignments?

* Theory



Research the answer furthermore give opinion about the questions .











*Case



Analyze the case furthermore making accounting report .













*Presentation



Making presentation moreover elucidate it in front of class in addition students must take control the presentation hence students can answer the questions from other students or professor. 









3. What The application accounting students use for making assignment or sending assignment in general .





1) Mc. Words

2) Mc. Excel

3) Mc. Power point 

4) Mayob accounting

5) Accurate accounting

6) Google classroom

7) WhatsApp

8) Gmail 

9) Ed modo 

10) Telegram

13) other accounting softwares.


4. Examination in accounting class 

I would say that 25% theory yet 75% accounting case


I'm Indonesian ,yet on exam papers use English for  account name in accounting. Hence, we must prevail the accounting terms .


During exam time, students must bring student ID card, proof of payment of tuition fees,stationery ( ruler, pencil, pen, eraser, etc) , calculator, wear white shirt & black pants (men)

white shirt, black skirt (woman) and don't use phone during exam time .


This moment is my fifth semester and I would say that I adore accounting major significantly since I gain ample information about finance in company or state, buisness cycle, learn to know fraud in buisness and many more . I mean, everyday in accounting class . I am gonna obtain mesmerizing knowledge. Even though sometimes , accounting major make me mind-boggling as my professor give us ample tasks, uneasy to understand the case, the explanation was not clear anyway I would say that 80% I enjoy it yet 20% it make me overwhelming .

Wow, Competent in the accounting field? But how?

  Hello everyone, I'm Dian . I'm fifth semester in University of Muhammdiyah Sumatra Utara, I'm Indonesian. I admire accounting knowledge hence it became my major.
